IMANO KYOTO KIYOMIZU HOSTEL

A lot of Westerners have a negative image of hostels,
but Japan is a very nice, clean, and stylish place
so you can believe this will be a hostel you've never been to before.

IMANO KYOTO KIYOMIZU HOSTEL incorporates a lot of Kyoto elements
making it original to others.

 LOBBY

IMANO series of youth hostels, will plan a comfortable exchange space, so that travelers can enjoy breakfast and dinner there or a delicious cup of coffee, occasionally will hold a variety of fun activities, people who want to meet new friends can pay attention to the event information.

🍞Breakfast: 7:30am~10am
Cafe: 11am~2pm (last order 1:30pm)
🍺Bar: 5pm~10pm (last order 9:30pm)

We chowed down on a yummy ham and cheese panini
with AWESOME waffle fries, and coffee.

*They also have normal, basil, and mentaiko (fish roe)
Panini: 400yen
Coffee: 350yen

There's also a special event where you can make friends from all over!
If you'd like, all you have to do is buy a cup of coffee,

then write your social network account name on the origami paper
and put it in the jar!
There you can become connected with people who have also stayed at the hostel and visited Kyoto!
It's a really cool concept so we went ahead

and put our info down on a piece of paper📜

 Important Utilities

Many hostels just have the basics,
a shower and bed.
However IMANO KYOTO has all of the same things you'd find at a hotel...
just the price of staying is cheaper!

They have a fridge for you to store any food or drinks you might have,
or if you'd like a bath, you can just pop down to the basement.

There's a coin-laundry room too that comes equipped with a washer and dryer.
There laundry room is a part of the resting area (where the fridge is),

so you have a place to sit and wait until your laundry finished.

when you're in a pinch, there are convenient supplies available for a small charge
Such as:
ear plugs
bath towels
coin laundry machines
detergent
toothbrushes
razors
hair brushes

All of the floors comes with a shower, bathroom, sink, and hairdryer.
Inside the showers are also shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
So no need to worry if you forgot yours.

All of these things are completely free.

It's crazy how clean and tidy everything is!!
Hard to believe this is such a cheap hostel!

 Things to Do Near
 IMANO KYOTO KIYOMIZU HOSTEL

●Yume Koubou
(京都夢工房)
Kyoto = geisha and maiko.
They really go hand and hand for many.

In Tokyo you can wear a yukata and walk around,
but just 4 miles (7km) from the hostel is a store
where you get a total geisha makeover!!

It's something that made this Kyoto trip EXTRA special!!!
We HIGHLY recommend this place!!
The store, Yume Koubou, is easy to find
and the staff speak English so it made things easy.

We did the Geisha Plan, but there are many other plans
and even one for men.
Next time we're going to do the Oiran Plan✨💝
