Not Your Stereotypical Image of Hostels

Many peoples image of hostels isn't very good.
They either think of old, dirty, run down places,
or the Hollywood thriller Hostel...
both not very good examples if you ask us.
So we can understand why some people would be hesitant
in staying in a hostel.

That's why we want to tell you how this specific hostel
is not what you'd expect!

⓵ Stylish and Clean!
We mention this first because that is always peoples biggest concern.
Cheap accommodation doesn't always equal 100% hygienic.
But man-oh-man,
we were WOWED at how beautiful and clean
IMANO TOKYO HOSTEL is!
THIS? IS A HOSTEL!?
It was really too good to be true.

⓶ Comfortable and Functionability
Many worry if staying in a capsule/bunk bed style or place,
would the areas be cramped?
Will I truly be able to relax?
The woman in the picture is 5'9" (175cm),
and she was able to rest easily
with a few extra inches on the mattress to spare!
Some of the beds even had an extra area to put luggage.
It was surprisingly spacious.

Where do you put your things?
There are also little closest spaces right next to the beds
for you to put your things,
as well as a hanger and shelf inside the bed.

And what about privacy?
If you would like a little "me time",
all you need to do is close the curtain to your bed!
Capsule hotels are really fun,
but sometimes you can feel claustrophobic.
However since they use a curtain,
you still get the privacy and secure feeling,
without the anxiety d(*´▽`*)b

⓷ Necessary Facilities and Items
On every floor there are men's and women's toilets,
showers, sinks, etc. that's available 24/7.
And of course,
they're sparkling clean!

There are also shampoo and conditioner, body soap,
and hair driers for you to use free of charge.

What other items are available?
IMANO TOKYO also has other convenient supplies available
when you're in a pinch for a small charge.
Such as:
ear plugs
bath towels
coin laundry machines
detergent
toothbrushes
razors
hair brushes

⓸ Safety
In addition to the areas where men and women share,
there are sex-specific floors.
Unfortunately, there are only "women's only" specific floors,
but it is an option if any women would
feel more comfortable staying there.
The doors are automatically lock secured
for extra security (all do - regardless the floor).

Groups and couples can also easily reserve a room
or bed to be close to each other!
It's so much cheaper than renting a hotel room.

Finally,
each floor has
safe deposit boxes available
 to keep guests valuables in.

 Room Types

So what are the rooms like?
There are six types of rooms available
at IMANO TOKYO GINZA HOSTEL,
for up to about 10 people.

Japanese Style Room
A great recommended for those in a big group,
or those who just want that extra bit of privacy
without having to pay loads at a hotel.
*It's actually cheaper than renting a family/group bed
here at the hostel!

What's even better about this room is it has a separate bathroom,
but the price is no different!
Giving you the hotel like experience,
TV, hair brush, razors, towels, slippers and more
are available for private use.
Like a hotel,
you are renting for the room.

★Japanese Style Room ~ ¥10,000/Room

4 Bed Room
There are two types of rooms for a four person room:
・The Family Room which can be booked as a "room"
・The Dormitory Room that can be booked as a "bed".

They have a great level of privacy and service their purpose
for a nice place to relax and recharge for the following day.

This room is great for small families/groups that are traveling.
While the Japanese Style Room is cheaper,
everyone in is guaranteed a bed in these Family Rooms.

★4 Persons Room (Dormitory) ~ ¥3,600/Person
 Family Room (4 beds) ~ ¥14,400/Room

6 Bed Room
For the six people room, there are three types,

๐Ÿ’ก・Women's Only Dormitory Room, booked per bed.

 Other Features

There is a cafe and bar lounge on 2F at the hostel.
Here you can enjoy some yummy food and drinks.
There are also events held at the hostels every month,
giving you a chance to learn more about Japanese culture
along with chatting with other guests if you'd like๐ŸŒŸ

When's the bar open?!
Bar time: 5pm to 10pm (Last order 9:30)

From the evening it becomes a fun bar area
with people from all over!
Snacks and other Japanese style bar food are available,
along with
a variety of beers, Japanese sake,
and wine for you to choose from!

How about the food?
Bfast and cafe time: 8am to 11am

In addition to Japanese and Western style dishes,
there is also a buffet corner that has
cereal, yogurt, milk, coffee, and tea.
