A new theme park in Japan!
First Moomin Theme Park in Japan opening in 2018 and 2019!

The world's first Moomin theme park "Moomin World" was opened in Finland in 1993. It is not a traditional theme park because it does not have any exciting rides. This park is more for the family and children to spend time together by experiencing different kinds of activities and watching musical shows.

The first Moomin them park out of Finland was scheduled to open in Japan in 2015. However, due to different reasons, the park was re-scheduled to open in 2018 and 2019.

The Japanese park is located in Saitama Prefecture (埼玉県) at Lake Miyazawa(宮沢湖). From Ikebukuro, it takes about 1 hour to get to Hanno City (飯能市)by Seibu Ikebukuro Line.

A northern European style village will be constructed. Of course the signature blue-colored house will be built in the park.
