This summer, you can get lots of fun in Roppongi! In this popular sightseeing spot, you can find many summer events that you and your family must be able to enjoy in! Today, we will show you 3 big summer events that you cannot miss!!


01.Studio Ghibli Expo at Tokyo City View

On the 52th floor of the famous Roppongi Hills where you can enjoy the Tokyo's night view at the Tokyo City View. This summer until 11 September 2016, Studio Ghibli Expo is being held at Tokyo City View. You can get a look of many special and never before seen works from this famous Japanese animation studio. From Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind to the newest animation Red Turtle, you can also see many marketing products like posters, production artwork, and memos etc.


Roppongi Hills Tokyo City View

By taking the high-speed elevator, you can get to Tokyo City View which is located 250 meters above sea level in just 42 seconds! At Tokyo City View, you can get an amazing view of Tokyo from the 52F indoor observation deck!

02. TV Asahi presents SUMMER STATION at Roppongi Hills

This is the third year TV Asahi is holding this summer event in Roppongi Hills!


This year, they scaled-up the programs of this summer event! Under the theme of live music, food and drinks booth of popular programs, you and your family must be able to enjoy in this big summer events.

Collaboration menu and attractions with popular programs! TV Asahi also opens their company cafeteria & terrace on the seventh floor for your visit!!

b. Roppongi Hills Arena
SUMMER STATION LIVE arena where you can see some amazing performance on stage.

Of course beer and barbecued food are things that you can't miss in summer night! Come to grab your beer at the premium beer garden.

03. Summer Light Garden at Tokyo Midtown

Just 10 minutes walk from Roppongi Hills, there is another popular commercial area in Roppongi area. Tokyo Midtown is a complex where you can find 5 stars hotel, office buildings and variety of shops and restaurants.

This summer, the "Summer Light Garden" illuminations will light up the summer nights on Midtown Garden. A collaboration with the three major fireworks competitions in Japan can be found this year!

Hours: 18:30 - 23:00
* Cancelled due to bad weather
* Fireworks programs is subject to change depending on the period.
* Fireworks of light special displays: 3 times per hour. About 5-7 minutes per time
