This time, we will take you to the shop right in front of Asakusa Station. Just 1 minute walk after getting off the train, you can find shops #2 and #3 in the same building on 2F and 3F!

01. Make a reservation in advance


You can make your reservation by phone, email or the official reservation page. Actually you can also make your reservation on the day you rent the kimono today. However, please note that there are chances that rental may not be available if you don' have advanced booking.

Q: Can I change the number of people after making a reservation?
A: Sure. Just contact the shop by phone or email before 10:00am on the day before your rental day.

Q: Can I cancel my reservation?
Sure. Just contact the shop by phone or email before 10:00am on the day before your rental day.
(Please call during 09:30 - 18:00. Please make sure you received a confirmation email from the shop for your cancellation if you cancelled by sending them email.)

On the rental day, please check-in on 1F, then complete a simple form like filling out  your name, birthday, nationality, contact number etc. Please note that only CASH is accepted.

02. Choose your kimono


Look how many choices are there for you to choose!! Collections for ladies, men, and children in all sizes are available!

Please note: Hip size 110 cm max for ladies and 120 cm max for men are available.


After picking the kimono that you like, professional staff will help you to put on the kimono. Please forgive us that we can't show you the pictures while we are getting changed. Actually we wore many different pieces of clothing underneath to make the kimono looked better!! Lastly, pick a belt (Obi) that you like to complete the whole kimono look!


You can also add on some nice accessories to enhance the whole look.


Okay, now we are done! Just in a short time, we transformed into a kimono beauty!


Beside the cute Minnie Mouse style above, you can also ask staff to tie the belt in different ways, like a ribbon. This service is totally free!


03. Hairstyles to go with you Kimono look 


Of course we need to set our hair to match with our kimono look. Don't worry, at Aiwafuku, professional staff will help you to make a simple hairstyle to go with your look. Just pick the hair accessories that you like!

Free luggage deposit service


You can deposit your personal belongings like bags and luggage at the shop, so you can enjoy Asakusa without carrying a lot of things!


You can keep your luggage until 17:00 of the rental day. Of course, valuable items like passport, money and mobile phones, it is better to keep them with you!

You can rent a rickshaw and take a tour in Asakusa. However, the price is not that cheap.
